Karen P. Druziako is President of Principal Asset, a National Executive Recruiting and Temporary Placement firm headquartered in New York City. Principal Asset specializes in placing people in the fields of Accounting, Finance, Investment Management, Banking, Payroll, HR and IT. As the sole proprietor, Karen oversees daily operations as well as business strategy. She took over the firm in 2002, after serving as Managing Partner.

Karen began her career as an Account Executive with New Boston Temps in Boston, Massachusetts in 1985. She later took a position as Vice President/Partner at EP Temps before becoming an Independent Sales and Marketing Consultant, both in the Boston Area. In 1993, Karen became Branch Sales Manager at Robert Half International in Long Island, NY, and later, moved on to become Area Manager for Accountants on Call in New Jersey. In 1995, she went on to become a Vice President at Access Accounting Professionals in New York City, where she successfully started and developed the Temporary/Permanent Accounting Division serving the New York Metropolitan Area.

Ms. Druziako has participated as a board member for a number of professional organizations including the NY Staffing Association, Institute of Management Accountants, American Payroll Association, and Lead Professionals. She is also active with the Women Presidents Organization (WPO), Woman in Public Policy (WIPP), National Association of Women Business Owners (NABWO), and Boardroom Bound. Karen’s business, Principal Asset, is a Woman Owned Business certified by Woman Business Enterprise National Committee (WBENC). It is also certified as a Woman Owned Business by the State of New York.

Over the past fifteen years, she has been active with a number of non-profit organizations including the Leukemia Society, and the Starlight Foundation.

Karen is a well known and respected business leader and public speaker.

Ms. Druziako earned her B.S. in Marketing from Northeastern University.
